I've been moving over my user base to Entourage on Panther from
Outlook on Jaguar. On many of them, when I'm downloading mail into
their exchange mailboxes, I'll get this error that says the parameter
is incorrect. I'll continue to download messages in the mailboxes
(using Cmd-L) and will continue to get this message several times. In
my troubleshooting, I've found that there are certain messages with
attachments that will not show up in Entourage, even though they show
up in Outlook Web Access. I can then go into OWA and delete these
messages and no more errors appear in Entourage when downloading
messages. These are regular attachments... Excel files, jpgs, etc.
Nothing seems to be different about them from any other attachment
that does make it through to Entourage... no weird filenames, etc. It
does not happen on all attachments, nor does it happen to any one
particular kind of attachment.
What's going on with this? It'd be nice if MS would give some info on
this... several people have posted and no one's answered. I've
tracked it down to an attachment problem, but can find no other useful
info.
