Error 11003

Hi - I'm getting a weird error - and it's not just me, our company's IT guy
came by and had the same problem. I'm trying to access my Exchange account,
and I keep getting an "Error 11003" message: invalid account id or password.
What makes it weird is that my calendars have been read, but none of my
other account data. Any ideas?

I have a user w/ the same problem, whether I try to add his account in
Entourage --> Exchange Server or an IMAP account from a PC. Yet, this same
user has no problem connecting via OWA on his G4 Mac nor logging into our
domain from a PC. I too would appreciate some help.

Thanks for pointing me to that kbase article. Now, does this still apply if
my calendars are mysteriously being synchronized despite Entourage claiming
that I'm supplying the wrong user ID or password? Unfortunately my company's
IT department seems to be a little overwhelmed, so they haven't been able to
spend any time helping me to troubleshoot this, and their recommendation is
that I stick with the dreaded Outlook 2001.

As a sidenote, there are one or two others here that have managed to
successfully connect to their Exchange accounts using Entourage for OS X.

Hi Mickey,
I have tried to get around this problem a couple of times and can't seem to.
I have looked at the things in the Knowledge Base article that you put in
your post and then sounds like the issue I am dealing with. I don't
understand though what I should be changing about the account or the
configuration of the Exchange server. Both of the services that the KB
article talks about are running fine. I have also verified that the server
can be connected to via IMAP on a Windows XP computer with Outlook XP.
I have compared the configuration of Outlook XP to the configuration of
Entourage and they are trying to use same ports. I use the same user id,
same password, same domain, same server address. Still the same 11003
error. If I tell it to connect using a SSL port 993, I get the -3280 error.

Is there anything that gets more specific about the configuration of either
the client, the server, or the account that I could look at, or is there
anything else you can suggest about this?
Because although the KB article describes the problem it is very vague on
the details to fix the problem.

-Randy
