Error 1335 During Office XP Pro Academic Installation

Please help. I am trying to get my son's PC with Win XP
OS running with Office XP. Like other's posting on this
site I get the message that the office1.cab file is
corrupt.

We have looked through all the posting, have tried all
the solutions on the MS bulletins but no luck.

If someone has seen a solution somewhere please send a
link where it can be found.
