Error 1704. .Net error when attemprting repair install office 2003 - Help Please

Hi,

I am trying to do a repair install and I get the message :-

Error 1074. An installation for Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 is currently
suspended.

I click on the Yes button to perform the suggested undo and the install
performs a rollback.

The install then hangs on the reparing office dialog with the Installation
Progress: , nothing appearing in the progress bar and Current Action:

There is no disk activity it just hangs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
