error 17747

I think the LDAP login is failing trying to retrieve the Global Address
Lists. Error is 17747. Any help as to the cause of the problem?

-17747 = -17800 + unwillingToPerform (53).

What LDAP service are you running? (Exchange 2000/2003? Regular Active
Directory 2000/2003? Other type of LDAP?)

What LDAP port and what root have you specified in your preferences? Is the
Directory Service account part of an Exchange account, or its own separate
account? Do you get this every time you try and get a directory listing, or
just when first selecting the directory account (or subsequently when
switching back to work online)?

Unless your settings are wrong, there may be permissions issues or
administrative limitations placed on your directory server which makes it
balk at providing the results to some query.
