Error 17997

I have 3 Mac uses in our group and they are on Mac OS X, panther 10.3.
They are connected to MS Exchange 2000 via IMAP. Only one user is
getting error code 17997.

-17997 is an Entourage internal error, kAthenaBadDataErr. It is used fairly
regularly when internal or external data doesn't match our formatting
expectations.

I take it that the client that gets the -17997 error crashes immediately
afterwards?

If that client's identity's database is corrupt in some fashion, it could
very well crash Entourage. My suggestion would be to attempt to rebuild that
identity. The MVPS have steps up on
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/database/rebuild.html>.

Yes, it crashes right after the error. I will rebuild the database. Do
you happend to knwo any books on MS Entourage for the support staffs?
