error 18600

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I'm trying to use entourage 2008 with an exchange server. When I try to send a message I receive an error: http error 18600.
Suddenly once all worked well for a day and a half and then there was the usual 18600 error.
Obviously in this case no mail can be received with entourage.
I have to use an owa connection in internet.
Can someone help me?

Was this 18600 or -18600? We do not have -18600 listed, but errors close in
number often have similar solutions.

BTW, did you check the "Outbox" for a message that is not sending? Entourage
2008 is better about sending other messages in the Outbox, but I've had
messages on occasion that refused to send and would block other messages.
Usually doing a copy/paste of the contents into a new message would send.
