i woke up this morning having hella problems w/ Outlook 2007b2tr (which i
have been using for months w/ NO problems BTW). Outlook was extremely
sluggish (to the point of becoming unusable) and i was getting weird errors
when trying to delete mail etc. referencing the .ost file? Anyways, i
attempted to perform a "repair" of office through the installer, but i get
the following message about halfway through:
"Error 1901. Setup cannot read file C:\WINDOWS\Installer\a3c2bb0.msp.
Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential
solutions to the problem, see
C:\DOCUME~1\503116~1.BOO\LOCAL~1\Temp\Setup00000ac0\SETUP.CHM."
A quick search reveals that neither of these files (or even their folders)
exist anywhere on my HD so hard to verify what the problem is
PS - I'd obviously like to correct this as painlessly as possible. I use
Outlook extensively and have it configured exactly the way i want (after what
seemed like weeks of effort).
