I run Mac OS 10.2.8.
In Entourage X, (10.1.5), when I try to receive my mail, I get an Error
Message # -23012 telling me: " A connection failure has occurred".
I cannot understand why I get such a message as the settings for the
ten POP accounts I use (username, mail server, password) are fully
checked and good and my physical connection is verified and A-OK
(ADSL with a Linksys Router)...
I have also an AntiSpam Application (POP3 Monitor 2.1.3) which uses
the very same settings and which works properly with absolutely no
problems. After filtering the messages, when this application tells
Entourage X to receive the mail from these ten accounts, everything
runs fine!!!
The problem occurs only when I try to get my mail straight from
Entourage X without using the AntiSpam Application.
Is there somebody who can help me and give me some tips or
explanations?
Why Microsoft doesn't publish an exhaustive list of the errors along
with their significations?
