Error 30588 when trying to edit email accounts

I have consistently received this error message from accounts that I have
created in Entourage 2004 and also those imported during initial set up:

"The action could not be completed.

An unknown error (30588) occurred."


I can't just keep deleting and recreating accounts to offset the inability to
edit them. Thanks for any helpful ideas.

Try editing them immediately after launch before you open a complex HTML
message. For some people, after viewing a complex HTML message they can no
longer edit accounts until they quit and restart.

Thanks Dave. That worked but only AFTER I removed the Office X Identities
folder which remained in my user data file after upgrading.
