Error -3260, Entourage 2004 and Exchange 2k3

Hey all
Just got 2 new macs on the network and 1 works great, while the other,
well, let's just say it does not play well with others. It
consistently gets an error -3260 when trying to get set up for
Entourage 2004 and Exchange Server 2003. After running tcpdump on both
it and the other mac, the only difference I can find is that the error
mac is trying to connect via https, while the functioning mac is just
using http to connect to the server. Any ideas what settings can be
changed where to disable this event? I set up both systems the same,
just different machine names, and it is driving me bonkers...
Thanks,

See this MS KB article for a solution:

That would be fine, except for the following:

APPLIES TO
· Microsoft Exchange Update for Entourage X (Office v. X 10.1.4
Update)

and has been mentioned in every single entry about this situation (I
believe there were 12), but was not a solution for any one of them.
I wish it did fix it, as this is not an uncommon problem, it would
appear. The problem appears to stem from Entourage wanting to use a
secure connection where it can't and have it work.
More info from the non-functional Entourage:
13:42:49.141495 IP xxx.xxx.xx.xx.49716 >
exchangeserver.xxx.xxx.xxx.https: S yada:yada(0) win 65535 <mss
1460,nop,wscale 0,nop,nop,timestamp 1334420100 0>
And from the funcioning version:
13:58:37.589522 IP xxx.xxx.xx.xx.49867 >
exchangeserver.xxx.xxx.xxx.http: . ack
13171 win 33304 <nop,nop,timestamp 1008365002 4202735>

The sad part is, OWA works just fine from both of them. It has
somethng to do with https vs http, it has to. The trick is in figuring
out what and where it is...

Thanks Diane,
