Error 3280

Anyone have an idea what error 3280 is? I'm using entourage with OS-X and
it was just working, but suddently, it won't let me send or receive
messages. I've tried quitting and restarting entourage, as well as
restarting the computer in general- none of those usual tricks have worked.
Any insight?

It means the server can't be found. There's likely a problem with your
network or network settings such as the DNS server is down, you don't have
the right DNS path specified, proxies aren't configured correctly...

Thanks for the help. What is a DNS Server and can you explain DNS path, what
are proxies?? And who do we talk to about the problems, Microsoft or our
ISP? And what do they tell them? I'm on a Powerbook g4 running Panther.
Sorry for all the questions

Open System Preferences and click Network. This is where you will make any
necessary changes. Talk to your ISP about what the settings should be.
