i was happily using entourage for 3 years
suddenly one of my hotmail accounts stops retrieving giving :
ERROR DESCRIPTION
AN UNKNOWN ERROR (-50) OCCUREED.
EXPLANATION
COULD NOT RETRIEVE MAIL
i can send fine but not retrieve
the other hotmail account sends and receives fine
WHAT I TRIED:
i restarted the computer
i deleted the problematic account from entourage and recreated it
the result:
IT HAS DOWNLOADED ALL THE MESSAGES THAT WERE ALREADY THERE
BEFORE THE PROBLEM APPEARED
AND MADE THE SAME ERROR WHEN REACHED THE BUNCH OF MESSAGES THAT WERE
NEVER RETRIEVED BECAUSE OF THE EMERGENCE OF THIS ERROR
can deleting these messages be a solution?
anyone encountered error (-50) before?
is there a key for the meaning of the these error numbers?
