Error: "Can't find contact"

Jack

When I use the toolbar search box to find a contact, it will only pull up
contacts with an entry in the FULL NAME box, even though, I have selected the
search and view based on "FILE AS"
FULL NAME is part of the view, too. If I fill in the FULL NAME with an
entry, it works, but I have many companies listed with no personal contact
and don't want to fill in this box needlessly.
Thanks
Jack

That doesn't answer my question. I know I can go and use the advanced search
feature, I want to find out why I can't use the standard tool bar search and
how to correct the problem.
Thanks

It does answer your question. That's not how it works nor was it designed to
work that way. It's a simple search function for name fields. To search more
fields, use the tools provided for that.
