Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

I cannot reply to any of my messages.
Error: Entourage cannot connect to the server. Verify that your computer is connected to the network.
Explanation: Mail could not be sent.
Account name: "yahoo"
Apparently, I have a POP account, but I really don't even know what that means. Im so frustrated. I wish I had never opened this program. It took all my messages from Safari and I need to reply very soon to some of these messages.
Also, why do messages open in another window? Is there any way to change that? I find that annoying.

Check this article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=824887 it seems like
the settings you have in Entourage is not correct. Please contact your
service provider and get it verified.

For your other issue click on view and click on preview pane and select the
appropriate option.

Hope this help

Thanks

POP and IMAP are two protocols that mail programs use to access mail stored
on remote computers. IMAP works by keeping mail on the server. POP works by
downloading your mail to your computer.

Safari is not a mail client.

You probably double clicked the window. See this page for using the
different views. You will probably like the 3 pane view best.
