error message 3259 mail stuck in outbox

I am new to entourage and switched my yahoo account to pass through and
now I can send out. It stays in the outbox forever. Suggestions.

Check your account settings:

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
(use authentication)

Do this by clicking on Advanced Sending Options and then Use Authentication.

If you are on an exchange account, error -3259 seems to be solved by
actually making Global Catalog servers available for LDAP lookups.
