Error message 4362 keeps appearing

I bought Microsoft office in 2004 and have been using Entourage. As an old
timer, I'd hate to have to learn how to utilize another program (due to the
time factor). Being retired requires attempting to assist others -often at
once... Perhaps someone could help me?

I keep getting error message # 4362, whenever I attempt to delete.
Also, if I obtain, say 20 e-mails, only about 4 or 6 appear!

In addition to the above, i have several mail boxes appearing, sometimes as
many as nine (9). By this I mean the window that shows one's incoming e-mail
messages.

please help.

In Entourage, go to Help > Check for Updates, and make sure that your copy
of Entourage is up-to-date.

Try rebuilding the database. In Entourage 2004, you must launch the
Microsoft Database Utility.
1. Launch Entourage, holding down the ³Option² key. Or, launch the
Database Utility separately; it is located in HD/Applications/Microsoft
Office 2004/Office/.
2. If you are prompted, allow the Database Utility to quit open Office
applications.
3. Once the Database Utility is open, select your identity from the list at
the top.
4. Click the ³Rebuild Database² button, and click ³Continue."

As for multiple windows appearing on launch, try closing them all but one,
and then quitting Entourage. Next time you launch Entourage, hopefully only
one main window will appear.

Error 4362 usually indicates database damage. The solution is typically
resolved by performing a typical or advanced rebuild of the database file.
