error message and slow response in 2002 outlook

Outlook begins to load, then the error
message 'OUTLOOK.EXE-No disk There is no disk in the
drive. Please insert a disk into drive\device\harddisk 1
\DR 2' I have used the repair feature in help, no
change. I also see the slowness going from mail one mail
to the next, a big change and about the same time as the
new downloads for 'security'. Any suggestions?

Do you have a removeable hard drive device? It might possibly be a Zip
drive.
