Error message: Out of memory

This is the message I get on my MS Outlook (2000) when I
try to send or receive mail. can anyone offer suggestions
to correct the situation.

Out of memory or system resources. Try closing other
programs to free additional memory. (Account: 'Fspmom',
SMTP server: 'smtp-server.hvc.rr.com', Error Number:
0x8007000e).
