Hi all,

I'm getting this error message when configuring/doing the initial setup for
MS outlook on my computer "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is
unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action"
This started to happen yesterday. I dont know why - I can use our web mail
without any problems. Also, if i try to configure my outlook on a different
computer i still get this message. Any idea why this is happening?
I've tried alsmost everything. I still cannot get the outlook to configure.

Please advice

Thanks
Asad

Are you able to resolve the name of your Exchange server when you set the
profile up? If you're in cached mode, turn it off and try again. Is the
PC/laptop connected to the network?

Hi Asad,

Have you tried to edit your host file with IP address and NetBIOS name of
your Exchange Srv?
(WINHOMEDIR\system32\drivers\etc)
