Error message when trying to open Mac Office Entourage

When I try to open up Microsoft Mac Office Entourage, I get the
following error message:

"This identity cannot be opened with this version of Entourage."

This occurs even after I have done a full reinstallation of Mac
Microsoft Office.
I am using a Macbook Pro.

Any help would be appreciated.

Indicates you need to upgrade to the latest version. There was a change in
the database early in the 2004 updates. You are using an older version
trying to open a newer version of the database.

I had the same problem and I solved it by downloading Service Pack 2
from <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx>
