Error Message

Whenever I try to send, receive, delete, or move email, I gete an error message taht the messaging interface has returned an unknown error--but no error number. Restarting Outlook, rebooting, detect and repair, and system restore do not correct the error. I've also scanned for viruses, but none are detected. Help!!!!

Which version of Outlook? if ol2002/2003, try deleting the srs files for
your profile...

look for them in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
