error message

I work for a non-profit org., and several people are
having this same problem. They are unable to send e-mail
through outlook. The following error message comes up:

Outlook executed an invalid instruction in module
<unknown> at 000:eek:off509e.

Then: This program has performed an illegal operation
and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact
the program vendor.

Any suggestions on how to repair this or where I can find
info to help?
