Error Message

I have Windows 98. Restarted the computer months ago (virus infected)and went
to reload Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business. Disc 1 of this program loaded
ok. Disc 2 will not. I get error messge "unknown error OX8E540111 OX90640
111".
No help so far from Microsoft help desk. Last suggestion from them was to
clean the disc and visually check it for flaws. Did that...still no workie.
Ideas/ Comments?
