When I attempt to open Entourage I get the following message after I select
an identity: "Mailing lists file is corrupt." I cannot go further.
Rebuilding the database did not help; the only way I could get into
Entourage was to pull out the "mailing lists" file (Documents, User Data,
Identity) which would mean all mail, addresses etc. would be lost.
Is there any way to restore the information in the "corrupt mailing list
file?"
I'm using Office 2001 and have tried downloading an update but was told the
"Office 2001 9.0.5 update could not be opened because the application
program that created it could not be found." (I do have the correct version
of "Stuffit" and all other listed requirements are OK.)
Any suggestions would be welcome.
