error sending email

I am getting the following error.

ask 'mail.moore-wds.com - Sending and Receiving' reported
error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to
your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have tried everything and searched the knowledge base
but can't resolve this.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Double check your SMTP server settings. If these are correct disable your
firewall/virusscanner and see if it resolves the problem. If it does
reconfigure/update your virusscanner/firewall.

This error could also occur when your are trying to connect to the SMTP
server from outside the network of your ISP. In this case you can contact
your ISP to verify it and use the webbased e-mailclient they provide
instead.
