Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Email Client: pop

I accidently sent an email without the end section of the address (@gmail.com) and an error popped up after I tried to send it saying it was an unknown alias. I sent it about 3 months ago and the error will not go away. It pops up every time I check my email. I deleted all my sent messages and drafts so I don't know why it is still trying to send. Hope somebody can help!

alias. I sent it about 3 months ago and the error will not go away. It pops up

Does the error come up when you are trying to send? If yes, then it could be
database corruption.

How to rebuild:

Quit any applications that are running, including virus-protection
applications, all Office applications, Microsoft Messenger for Mac, and
Office Notifications/Reminders, because they might interfere with
rebuilding. Easy way...log out/in with Shift key down to disable all running
applications. Hold the Option key down when launching Entourage. Be sure to
make a backup prior to rebuilding! Full details here:

Did you check the Outbox under "Folders on My Computer" to make sure the
message still isn't there trying to send? If you find it there, delete it.
