hi there, im having a very strange problem,

on an xp pro machine, ive networked and connected it to a 2003 sbs server,
the excahnge serve on the box were not using, and using an outside company
for mail,
i backed up the mail account to a pst and then connected the workstation,
it added all the exchange stuff from the server, i then had to delete and
remake the inbox.

in the contacts tab, i can see all the contacts, however when i go to make a
new email and add a name i get this error message

"the address list could not be displayed, the contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions. for more information on how to
remove this folder from the outlook address book see help"

it then opensthe dialoge box select names

on the top right there is a "show names form the:"
in here i have
outlook address book
contacts (not working)
contacts ( has all my contacts in)
contacts ( has all my contacts in)

does any one have a an idea on what causing this to happen, i can do this
manually by selecting form the dioaloge the correct folder however, this is
a pain when it should work fine

cheers

ben
