Error when sending email in Outlook Express 6

The users on the system are trying to send email out from
Outlook Express 6; they're able to receive and read, but
when they resond/send they get the following error
message:

An unknown error has occurred.
Subject ",Account:'mail.sitename.org',
Server: 'mail.sitename.org',Protocol:SMTP,Port:25,Secure
(SSL):No, Error Number:0x800CCC0B

Please, can anyone help? It's been a problem for a while
now and I can't seem to find anything in this regard.
