Error while opening Entourage X

One of my users decided to clean up his entire Sent Item folder, but somehow
the system hung and Entourage crashed.

Now when he tries to open up Entourage the following error occurs:

"Entourage cannot access your data. To attempt to fix the problem, rebuild
your database.

To rebuild the database, quit all other Microsoft Office program and try
again."

How do I attempt to fix the database?

Is it talking about the Exchange database?

Any help would be helpful...

Rebuild by holding down the option key when starting entourage. Keep holding
until you see the rebuild screen.

Thi snmessage is talking about the local database - where all you
information is stored.
