Escape to close email

Is there a way to create a shortcut in Entourage so that the "escape" key will close an open email? This was a very handy feature in Outlook.

I don't know of any way to make "escape" close the window, but cmd-w will
close an open window in almost any application, including Entourage and the
rest of the Office Suite. Once you've used it a few times, you'll get used
to using cmd-w instead of escape.
