Our SPAM software works by dragging and dropping a copy of the email that is either spam or not spam to a good or bad file. In windows we held down Control Key and dragged it to the appropriate file. It put a copy of the email in the spam folder and left a copy in the original folder. Is there a MAC equivalent to this Control Key Drag and Drop?

Yes, it's Option key.
