this is causing a large problem as we use it to give presentations for our
work and it's looking pretty unprofessional when it happens.
It only happens on my laptop - not my colleagues
we have a product called turning point (an audience voting system installed)
Any help would be very gratefully accepted

What font?
What version of PPT?

Is the presentation being given on the same computer it was created on?

thanks for getting back to me Echo S

It seems to change it to any number of random fonts/sizes
PPt 2003
and yes it is given on the same computer as it is created on.

sometimes it just changes fonts on 50% of the slides and leaves the rest.
Once it changed them all to webdings!!! so it couldnt even be read
thanks

I think you may want to do a thorough virus scan. This is very very odd
behavior.

What font is specified on the slide masters?

If you go to Format | Replace Fonts, what fonts show up in the "replace"
list? What symbols (TT or a printer icon or a question mark) show up beside
each font listed?
