Excel 2002 VBA on Windows 2003 Server: cannot open project

Hey folk,

I have two servers, one w2k and one w2k3 . Each has Excel 2002 loaded.
Excel VBA works great on the first. However on the w2k3 box Excel, per se,
works all right - but VBA does not load anything. No default project -
nothing. "References" is greyed out.

Any idea where I zigged instead of zagged?
