Excel 97 / Excel 2000 compatibility problem?

Hello,

I´m developing an Excel application with Excel 97.
I have added a control toolbox of type textbox to one of
its worksheets.

Until now it was no problem to run it with Excel 2000.

But in the latest version the textbox disappears in Excel
2000. It is still visible on the sheet, but its name is
not more known in the Excel-VBA-Code nor is it visible in
the editor windows class list.

Has anybody an explanation for this behaviour?
