Excel 97 to Excel XP running on NT

I created a formula in Excel 97 which pulls in sums from
another workbook file.

We then converted to Excel XP. I am getting some value
errors.

Can any of this "value" error be caused to how 97 and XP
addresses paths to locations on NT? If so is there a fix?

I could be wrong, but it would appear doubtful that the problem is
caused by a XL 97 to Xl2002 conversion. What is the formula that now
yields the value error? What's in the worksheet cells that are the
source for this formula?
