Excel closes when you run an advanced Filter

Hello,

We are a small school of about 40 systems and we use a
terminal server to deploy our office applications. For
some reason when our students try to run an advanced
filter (During thier Final Exam) excel kicks them out.
Gives no errors! I'm not sure if it's a terminal issue or
an excel issue. IF anyone has any suggestions please,
please let me know.
