Excel Compile error in hidding module: AutoExecNew

I have tried moving the pdfmaker.xla and .dot files and fixed the problem
with word.

When I open excel I still get the "AutoExecNew" error message and when I
close it I still get the "DistMon" error message. How do I make these go away.

Please don't direct me to the following because it hasn't helped me:

Additionally, I have also gone to tools & add ins and there are none checked
off.
