Excel Does Not Open Personal.xls

Excel just stopped loading personal.xls when starting. I
can create a new personal.xls by recording a macro and
saving the changes upon exiting Excel. However, when I
restart Excel it still won't load the newly crated file.
Any thoughts?

Have you specified an alternate start-up location under
Tools>options...>general. This overrides XL's default setting

Did you try copying Personal.Xls from another PC to same

location and if it works.
