Excel Functions not working - MS Office 2003

D

D M Andriesse

When I enter functions in the cells i.e. =DATE(2004, 3, 3)
I get the following error "the formula you typed contains
an error" Most of the functions that need comma
separators do not work. The same promblem occurs with
Acces. I have downloaded and installed SP1 patch.

Could someone please help me

I use the comma as my list separator (USA default).

Maybe you need the semicolon ";"

Or maybe someone/something fiddled with the windows regional settings list
separator:

Windows start button|settings|control panel|regional settings applet
Number tab|List separator.

Either match that in your formulas or change it to what you like.
