Excel, How do I prevent hyperlinks from changing when linking fil.

I am trying to hyperlink to PDF's and the link keeps changing format and
losing the link. This happens only when I save. The spread sheet is on a
different network drive than the files I am linking too. Any advise or
suggustions is appreciated.
