Excel IF Function Problem

Hi there,

POSTCODE = ZIPCODE

I understand that you can only nest the IF Function 7 times when yo
want different conditions to return different values. However, I wan
the IF function to return "SOUTH" for 30 different postcodes, "NORTH
for 36 different postcodes, "EAST" for 37 differnt postcodes and "WEST
for 36 different postcodes. Is it possible to use "OR" so that th
above would constitute only 4 nested IF functions.

Put them in a table and use the VLOOKUP function instead of IF.
