Excel manipulation of data (Dates)???

W

WetBehindEars

Ive just exported a file from one system and have converted it into a .csv
file. One of the columns in the file is filled with dates. Right now the
dates read in this format:

00/00/00

I would like to change the dates in this column to exclude the forward
slashes such as:

000000

How can I do this? Ive tried to format the cell with either a custom
setting or by date, but I doesnt seem to have this function. Any
suggestions??
