excel not copying formulas/formatting to next row?

i have a large table, column A has data validation, M has a formula fo
calculating based on columns K and L, and O has condifiona
formatting.

basically excel does not automatically copy the formulas down if
start typing on the next blank line on the sheet, despite every singl
one fo the 1500 rows before it all containing exactly the sam
formatting and formulas.

I thought excel should automatically copy these things down if yo
start entering on an empty row but it does not. We are using exce
2002 SP2 here. any ideas

Go to Tools/Options/Edit, and check the Extend list formats and formulas.
