Excel numbers not sorting correctly

I am aorting a spresdsheet with dates and names and want to sort it by a
column of numbers. When I sort it gives me all 100+ numbers first then 1-99.
I have tried a million times and cannto get ti to work correctly.

Jenny, have you tried formatting the cell/numbering?
