Excel spreadsheets in FrontPage websites

I created a website using FrontPage 2003 and to add search capability for an
inventory, I inserted Excel spreadsheets with autofilter activated. Although
I can do searches exactly as I want them to, visitors to the site get an
error message regarding Web Components. Any solutions to this? Has anyone
else experienced similar problems?

Save the file as html / web page from Excel, then import it into FP and link to it, otherwise users
will have to have Excel or the Excel Viewer installed to view the Excel File.

I am trying to do something similar. How do I implement the excel file into
the web page with out having it displayed?

You would use the FP database components, but your site must be hosted on a Windows IIS web server
with ASP enabled.
