I deal with a few sizable worksheets. My brother has a four year old PC. I have a new Mac Pro and we trade financial models in Excel. These worksheets require us to turn on the iteration function to work properly. His computer can iterate a model in a matter of seconds. Mine takes twenty times as long! What gives? Anything I can do to enhance performance? I've already got a latest generation processor with 2GB or RAM and 1TB or hard disk space, which is way more than my brother's PC has.
