Excel vs. Vista

When I double click on an Excel file either in a file or MS outlook I get the
following error message: Windows cannot find 'C:\User..............and the
file I´m trying to open.
But if I open Excel and open the same file there is no problem.

Any suggestions?

Just a guess - I've been resisting switching to Vista for years because of
all the changes to the user interface just for the sake of change. But if
your link that you are trying to open contains "My Documents" in the path,
then just remove the "My ". For reasons known only within Microsoft, "My
Documents" is now "Documents".
