Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: Exchange

My company has changed the Exchange version to 2007 and to Outlook Web Access 8.1.278.2. Sinse then I can't get my mail to my Mac and Entourage. All settings are chcked, DAV is enabeled. When trying to get the mail disconnected blinks on the account in the menus bar (right side).

In the get mail menue/icon the first two lines are greyed

Is there a need for a fix?

Best regards

Are you using Kerberos authentication? If so, switch back to standard
authentication where you enter both your name and password. Does that
make a difference?

Thanks for your help, but this is not the case. Kerberos isn't turned on

When I was using Exchange Server 2007, I had some difficulty accessing it
via any client other than Outlook and OWA. I was never able to using
GoldMine for example.

Thank you Pawan!!

I found the fix in the KB article you gave me.

I did get my Entourage Mac clients connecting to our new Exchange 2007 Server
by using the FQDN/exchange/useremailaddress in the field for server. Now I
am trying to setup a second account for their department mailbox by creating
another account that is IMAP type. I get it to work one day and then the
next day it won't send email...it gives an authentication error 5.7.1 Unable
to relay. This was the same problem we had with the mail.app...it would stop
sending for no reason, so we purchased Entourage and now we are in the same
position again! What is the deal with the new Exchange 2007? What is the
trick to keep it working for Mac clients?

I suggest posting your question in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin
newsgroup
<http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.exchange.admin>. You'll
have better luck getting Exchange-specific questions there.

Good luck!
