Exchange 5.5 and GAL

although the LDAP server IP address is same as the SMTP server IP
address is impossible to retreive the addresses from the global
address book
what can I do? I use Entourage v.X (10.1.4) on Exchange 5.5 and
Windows NT 4
I have read all the messages with the same problem but whatever I
tried was vain.

Did you set it up as a standard directory service account. If you set up
the LDAP server IP in the "LDAP" tab of an Exchange account, it won't work
because that is designed to work with Exchange Server 2000 & 2003.
